Nothing is guaranteed but I think you might be referring to 'calendar spreads.' Google that or take a course. The latter the better route.

Hi there, I am new to the options game, I have only just started trading straddles, but I have heard that option can be trades on earn ‘a good regular monthly income’. Can some one tell me in this is true, if so what is the name of that particular strategy and where can I find out more. Also if anyone has any experience of doing these trades.
