I could recommend about 3000 of them, but you probably only want a few. Ya gotta love that humor.

Not all stocks react to their earnings, some act up before the earnings announcement. And it's all a bunch of guesswork.

But feel free to look at some of the well known brands:
GOOG
AAPL
MOT
YHOO

Like I said, there are about 2996 others.
Straddles work out nicely IF the movement from the earnings is big enough to cover the cost of the two legs. But with the market over reacting as it is at this time - searching for anything good, a straddle could be positive.

Good luck!

Hi all,

I am new to US options trading and currently researching the reaction of stocks /options to the quarterly release of earnings. Can anyone ‘recommend’ any stocks / options I can research to track historical trends?

Also an opinion if this is a profitable when placing ‘straddles’, any advices and help I would really appreciate.

Thanks
