Refund Policies

The following applies to all classes, subscriptions and products:

Special limited time offers may have terms and conditions which differ from those set forth here. In those circumstances, the refund policy stated in the special limited time offer shall apply.

"RMA#" refers to a Return Merchandise Authorization number, which you must request from Customer Service before returning any product. To do so, call 1-888-366-8264 and choose option 5.

Any class, subscription or product purchased at a class may be cancelled at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of the transaction.

Subscriptions may not be suspended or delayed to a later date.

Purchases of classes, subscriptions or products are non-transferable, except in specific circumstances as expressly authorized in writing by an authorized representative of Optionetics management.

Neither Optionetics nor its licensors and suppliers warrant or make any representations regarding the use of the services and/or products listed on this Web site. All services and products are sold "as is," without warranty of any kind. Neither Optionetics nor its licensors and suppliers guaranty or warrant the accuracy, completeness of, or results to be achieved from, utilizing any service or product. Optionetics disclaims any and all warranties, implied as well as express, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or use. Optionetics shall not be liable for any inaccuracy, delay, service interruption, error or omission, without regard to cause of same, or for any resulting damages.

Optionetics specifically disclaims any liability for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, whether such damages were unforeseen or foreseen, with respect to any use of its products or services, including but not limited to lost time, lost money, lost profits or good will, whether damages are based in contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise. If a court or arbitrator nevertheless determines that these limitations of liability are unenforceable, the cumulative liability of Optionetics under any legal theory of recovery shall not exceed the amount paid for the services and/or product.

All services and products are analytical tools only. Such services and/or products do not constitute, and do not replace individual research or licensed investment advice. The purchase, sale or advice regarding any type of security can only be performed by a licensed Broker/Dealer or Registered Investment Advisor. Neither Optionetics nor its officers, employees, owners, agents, principals or affiliates is a registered Broker/Dealer or Investment Advisor in any state in the U.S. Anyone using Optionetics' products and services is encouraged to consult a licensed representative of their choice regarding any particular investment or investment strategy.

No representation is being made that Optionetics' products and services will guarantee profits and prevent trading losses. Trading stocks, currencies, futures, commodities or options involves substantial risk and there is always the potential for loss. Because trading results may vary, don't trade with money that you can't afford to lose.

The following applies to all online classes:

Online sessions are licensed for the personal viewing of the buyer and/or their immediate family members in a live streaming format from our servers only. It is a violation of these terms of use for you to share or transfer your access at any time, or to pirate or otherwise copy our class content for use in another format or method. Violation of these terms will result in termination of your access to the class, without any refund or credit.

You will have access to recordings of all available class sessions for a period of six (6) months after the class start date. The schedule for live sessions is subject to change due to holidays or other scheduling issues. Online sessions are recorded, and you hereby consent to appear on the recording if you choose to speak or ask questions during a live session.

Individual Product Terms and Conditions

Active Investor

The purchase of Active Investor is non-refundable. If you select auto-renewal, you may cancel within three (3) days after your renewal is billed to your credit card, and receive a 100% refund of the automatic renewal amount. If you need to cancel, you must call Customer Service at 1-888-366-8264 and choose option 2.

Active Investor Methods (AIM)

You can withdraw from the class without penalty by 12:00PM noon on day one of the class, or within fourteen (14) days after the enrollment date, whichever occurs first.

Master Series (classes and coaching)

You have twelve (12) months after the original date of purchase to begin your online class. Prior to your class beginning, you can change your registration to another start date within the same twelve (12) month period, as long as we can find a replacement to fill your reserved seat in the class. No refund or credit is available if you do not begin a class, or if you cannot attend one or more of the sessions for which you are registered.

Money Steps Options

If you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel within 24 hours after your first scheduled session, or within sixty (60) days after the enrollment date, whichever occurs first. If you need to cancel, you must call Customer Service at 1-888-366-8264 and choose option 2 to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization# and return the product and original packaging in resalable condition within seven (7) days after cancellation. Products not returned in resalable condition at Optionetics' sole discretion are subject to a restocking fee of $79. No refund or credit is available if you cannot attend one or more of the sessions.

OASIS

If you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel within three (3) days after your purchase, and receive a 100% refund of the amount paid. If you need to cancel, please call Customer Service at 1-888-366-8264 and choose option 5.

Optionetics Coaching

You have three (3) months after the original date of purchase to begin your online class. Prior to your class beginning, you can change your registration to another start date within the same three (3) month period. No refund or credit is available if you do not begin a class, or if you cannot attend one or more of the sessions for which you are registered.

If you do not own the ProfitSource and/or Platinum Pro software taught in the class, Optionetics will provide you with a one-time teaching courtesy of a 60-day trial for the product(s) you don't yet own. This teaching courtesy does not extend or replace any prior subscription or purchase of these tools.

Optionetics Monthly Newsletter

Available to US residents only.
3-Month Subscription: Refunds are not available.
Yearly Subscription: Refunds are available on a pro-rated basis at the monthly billing rate of $33.33.

Platinum Essentials
Platinum Pro

Yearly Subscription: A "year" is defined as 52 seven-day weeks. No refund is available after initial purchase or renewal of an annual subscription, or after the expiration of a free trial period. (To cancel during the free trial period, you must call 1-888-366-8264 and choose option 5.)

PowerTools Trading Class

You have twelve (12) months after the original date of purchase to (a) begin your online class, and/or (b) attend an on-ground presentation of the class. Prior to either class beginning, you can change your registration to another start date within the same twelve (12) month period, as long as we can find a replacement to fill your reserved seat in the class. No refund or credit is available if you do not begin a class, or if you cannot attend one or more of the sessions for which you are registered.

TradeStart

If you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel within seven (7) days after your purchase, and receive a 100% refund of the amount paid. If you need to cancel, please call Customer Service at 1-888-366-8264 and choose option 5. No refund or credit is available if you cannot attend one or more of the sessions for which you are registered.

Trading Essentials Class

You can withdraw from the class without penalty by 12:00PM noon on day one of the class, or within fourteen (14) days after the enrollment date, whichever occurs first. The class materials must be returned in resalable condition to one of our representatives between the hours of 9:30AM and 12:00PM noon at the class you registered to attend.

Refunds will be paid within thirty (30) business days of the date of authorization, return of the materials, and receipt by Optionetics of a written request for a refund. The quality of our product enables us to confidently offer a refund policy that exceeds legal requirements. Notwithstanding the above, you, the Student, may cancel this transaction at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the Enrollment Date. See the accompanying Notice of Right to Cancel for an explanation of this right.

Trading Essentials Class - Reattending

The right to re-attend an Optionetics Trading Essentials Class is free with your original paid tuition, as long as you register for the class you wish to attend before 5:00PM Pacific Time on the last business day prior to the class. Registrations after the deadline will be charged a $100 late registration fee.

Due to the popularity of our classes, we require a valid credit card to guarantee your seat at the class. If you are unable to attend, you must notify us at least seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled start of the class or your credit card will be charged a fee of $500. If you cancel prior to this period, your credit card will not be charged.

Wealth Without Worry

If you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel within thirty (30) days after your purchase, and receive a 100% refund of the amount paid, less shipping and handling charges. Students who are in the first 30 days of their membership and are not completely satisfied may cancel within twenty four (24) hours after they access their first seminar, and receive a 100% refund of the amount paid for the subscription. If you need to cancel, you must call Customer Service at 1-888-366-8264 and choose option 5. No refund or credit is available if you cannot attend one or more of the sessions for which you are registered, or if you do not use all of your credits.
